NewEgg, that’s who
PC gamers are used to the usual pre-order discount scene, but console games are another thing entirely, rarely seeing discounts until a few months after release. Thankfully, NewEgg still happily takes your pre-order dollars for un-tested and un-reviewed games. Woo.
Now through February 5, several games are on sale, including next week’s release of Evolve. More notable, however, are rare deals on Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Just a note: NewEgg isn’t like Amazon in terms of release-day delivery, so if you’re fine with waiting 2-4 additional days in return for some extra cash in your wallet, this is a good way to go.
