Pokemon Rumble Blast blasting to 3DS on October 24

Blasting? Rumbling? Pokémon!? What platform can handle this much action!? The Nintendo 3DS, of course — Nintendo has announced that Pokémon Rumble Blast is headed to the handheld on October 24.

Created exclusively for the 3DS, the game lets players battle more than 600 wind-up Toy Pokémon. Players will collect the Toys, each of which have their own stats and abilities, and then throw them into a ring to kill or be killed. Brutal.

Rumble Blast will also let two players connect using local wireless, teaming up to clear levels with one another and trying to catch ’em all. Those who don’t have any friends but regularly ride subways or hang out at playgrounds, Rumble Blast also supports StreePass to challenge others on the go.

Which of you Pokémaniacs are going to run out and buy a 3DS now that Pokémon Rumble Blast is on the horizon?
