PlayStation mini Stellar Attack doesn’t look half bad

We rarely talk about PlayStation minis. Frankly, quite a lot of them look downright terrible, and I say that as someone who is — generally speaking — always looking for the positives, no matter how overwhelmingly apparent the more dreadful aspects are.

Either I’m slipping, or Laughing Jackal’s Stellar Attack looks rather neat; either way, it’s an improvement over stuff like this. The game is inspired by Star Control, a name I haven’t heard mentioned in years. I’m telling you this because there aren’t demos for minis, sadly enough.

Look out for Stellar Attack starting Tuesday, June 1 on the PlayStation Store. At $4.49, it shouldn’t be too much of a risk to handle. All you have to go on, really, is a trailer at the PlayStation Blog.
