Looks like the only Resident Evil we’re getting on the Nintendo 3DS this year will be Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D. Capcom’s official Resident Evil Facebook page is pegging the other game, Resident Evil: Revelations, for a 2012 release.
Revelations is the narrative driven title of the two, and arguably the one fans are most looking forward. Mercenaries is a portable version of the “Mercenaries” mini-game included in Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. It’s out this summer, and looks pretty good in its own right. Bonus: it comes with a demo of Revelations!
Capcom has also released some concept art for Revelations, so hopefully that’ll keep you sated until we get something more substantial.
