Nintendo release video to celebrate 1000 games available for Switch

You’ve got all of them, yeah?

Nintendo has hit a milestone this week, as their hybrid console, Nintendo Switch has surpassed a total of 1000 games available in its catalogue. From major releases such as Super Mario Odyssey, to small-scale classics like Shovel Knight, and everything in-between.

To celebrate hitting quadruple figures, Nintendo has dropped a short video looking at some of this year’s big releases. Beginning with a squad of trendy kids playing the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – they must have a hacked ROM or something – the cheerful video also features Let’s Go Pokemon, Diablo III, Super Mario Party, Splatoon 2, Fortnite and Dark Souls, among others.

It’s been a very successful console for The Big N, and a much-needed turnaround from the struggles of the Nintendo Wii-U. The Switch appears to be going from strength to strength, and not slowing down anytime soon. Maybe I should actually get one.
