Scrap Mechanic 1.0 has more tools than ever to help you on your survival crafting adventure. Your first task is to obtain them all. These tools are essential, and some will be key to accessing the endgame content.
In this guide, I will go through all the available tools in the current version of the game and how to get them.
How to obtain all tools in Scrap Mechanic 1.0
In Scrap Mechanic 1.0, there are 11 different tools to unlock. The table below has all the information you’ll need. Some tools are unlocked by default. For the rest, you will have to prep them using their dedicated recipes.

If you are trying to get tools that are not available by default, you will also need the resources. Some, like the more advanced weapons (aka Spud Gun and Spud Shotgun), will require more resources. Prioritize the ones needed for different constructions, since you’ll use them more.
