Nintendo Download: Just a few more hours until 3DS eShop

Recommended Videos

With Microsoft’s and Sony’s press E3 press conferences today, it might be easy to forget that Nintendo has a major event scheduled for today as well. Of course, we have the regularly scheduled set of WiiWare and DSiWare releases, but the real event for today is the pending release of the 3DS eShop, which according to Nintendo, is set to go live “later this evening”. We’ve already checked it out, (along with the free games that come with it) so if you want more details on what you’ll be getting tonight, we have you covered.

As for the rest of you, hit the jump for the full press release on this week’s WiiWare and DSiWare titles. One of them is called Crazy Cheebo, and it looks completely terrifying. I was excited for the game upon first glance, assuming that it might star the often overlooked Nintendo underdog Chibi Robo. Instead, the game appears to be about some demonic cross between Shrek and naked homeless midget.

So yeah, that’s a thing.
