Nintendo Download: Baby Chicken Edition

Recommended Videos

Another week of Nintendo Download is upon us, and it has animals galore.

The eShop is a tad uninteresting this week, as you can either get SpeedX3D (eShop, $3.99) or Outdoors Unleashed: Africa 3D ($3.99). SpeedX 3D has been getting a decent wave of buzz from some 3DS owners across the net, but you should probably check out some reviews first.

The real golden egg here isn’t on the eShop specifically, but the 3DS Virtual Console, as fan favorite Toki Tori is now available (3DS VC, $3.99). If you enjoy your time with the VC Game Boy Color version and can’t get enough of that baby chicken action, there’s a Toki Tori remake available on WiiWare, PC, iOS, and Android.

You can also grab a demo of the highly addicting Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, which I highly recommend. On DSiWare, you can nab Escape the Virus: Shoot ’em Up (DSi, $3.99).

For you Wii owners out there, you get nothing again this week. Surprisingly, there is also no mention of a weekly sale for the second week in a row. Nintendo really does get bored of pet projects pretty easily.
