Nintendo DLC: Master Blaster: Enemy Below and more

Nintendo’s back with some decent offerings for downloadable content this week after a couple of pretty crappy ones. Can’t win ’em all, I guess. What am I saying? It doesn’t feel right to complain when I think about all the fantastic offerings they’re handing over for free in this next batch of Ambassador gifts tomorrow.

Did you play Blaster Master: Enemy Below back in the Game Boy days? You may have missed it as it looks just like the NES Blaster Master. Know that it isn’t the same, though. Somehow I like it more. And this time around it’s in 3D on the 3DS. It’s available for $4.99 this week on the eShop.

Elite Forces: Unitt 77 is full-on military combat with a bit of tactical action mixed in. With 4-player multiplayer, this looks pretty robust for $7.99. WordJong Arcade is the same price, but it’s the opposite of action with its word puzzle mahjong play. Just Sing Vol. 3 is like Christmas karaoke for your portable. It’s only $1.99.

For WiiWare we have Paint Splash (500 Wii Points, demo available), a paint slinging Wiimote game. It has up to 4-player co-op painting! I never was a Carmen Sandiego fan, and I hated math in school, so you’re going to have to tell me how Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Lady Liberty Larceny (600 Wii Points) is.

What are you getting this week?
