Chrom, Lucina, Fiora, oh my!
Project X Zone was a nice bit of fan service, and the sequel seems to be taking things up a notch.
In addition to featuring a procession of familiar faces from the vaults of Sega, Capcom, and Bandai Namco, Project X Zone 2 will feature Nintendo characters for the first time in the nascent series.
Bandai Namco has revealed Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem: Awakening will both be making an appearance in the game, as will Xenoblade Chronicles‘ Fiora, who is paired up wtih KOS-MOS from developer Project X Zone Monolith Soft and publisher Nacmo’s own Xenosaga series.
Now if only Square Enix and Koei Tecmo join the fun, this game would be a real party. Just imagine adding some Final Fantasy and Dead or Alive characters to the mix. That would be just fantastic.
The strategy RPG will debut in Japan this November. A western release is planned for February.
