Nintendo announces ‘Ultimate NES Remix’ for 3DS

Coming on December 5th

Without any real fanfare of any kind, Nintendo has sent over word of a gamed called Ultimate NES Remix for the 3DS. It’ll launch on the eShop and in retail form on December 5th, and will be priced at $29.99.

According to Nintendo the game will feature “16 of Nintendo’s finest 8-bit games,” and will include regional leaderboards as well as a Championship mode. This is kind of odd, as the Wii U is getting a special NES Remix combo pack later this year for $29.99, which includes far more than 16 games.

There’s no word yet on whether or not the “Ultimate” 3DS game is just the first NES Remix, the second one, or a combo of both.
