Nintendo announces Pokemon Sun & Moon for 3DS

Coming this year

[Update: I grabbed some screens for some concept art in the stream, which flew by at half a second intervals. The trailer is also available below. Feel free to speculate away!]

Well, those trademark filings were correct: Nintendo is going to release Pokémon Sun & Moon later this year on 3DS. As announced during the Nintendo Direct this morning, the pair will arrive in ‘Holiday 2016.’ It will also feature nine languages, including simplified and traditional Chinese.

No other details were given, but we can expect them to drip-feed them throughout the year. For now, you can salivate at the prospect of bringing in 12 mythical Pokémon right off the bat.
