I hesitated to type “New 3DS update” in the headline, because of Nintendo’s confusing new hardware iteration. This update is for everyone!
Compliments of version 9.6.0-24, Nintendo has added a new home menu customization setting, in addition to slight changes to the theme shop. Another interesting tidbit that was added to older hardware like the original 3DS, XL, and 2DS is an amiibo settings menu, which isn’t even functional until the adapter is out “sometime in 2015.”
