Triforce (very nice guy, talented gamer) is already in line in Manhattan, at Best Buy. He was there as of yesterday night, actually. He’s “keeping the tradition” of being at Nintendo launches, he says. He has a bit of a wait, as the 3DS will not go on sale until this weekend.
From what he says in the video, I think he’s expecting too much out of being the first person at launch. Maybe he’ll get something, but I wouldn’t expect much. He’ll be thinking about a shower much more than he’ll be thinking about any kind of bonus gift. To be fair, he has a sub-in plan to have guys switch out with him so he can use the bathroom and clean up. Still, it’s going to be hard. I hope it stays warm in New York.
I’m not judging. I still love lining up for game system launches. I think it’s a lot of fun.
Good luck, man!
