New Pokemon X and Y footage shows off crazy creatures

Remember that panda, bird, goat, and…dog thing from Pokemon X and Y that were revealed last weekend from CoroCoro magazine? Those creatures are known as Panchum (fighting), Fletchling (normal/flying), Gogoat (grass), and Helioptile (normal/electric), and now, compliments of the official Pokemon YouTube channel, we have footage of them all in-game.

The brand new gameplay video shows off some brief footage of the new riding mechanic, as well as a general view of an in-game town, and battle footage of the four aforementioned creatures. New outfits and accessories that can be picked up as you progress on your journey have been confirmed, as is the world map (the Kalos region), and the tentative box art for X and Y. I think it’s an understatement to say I can’t wait to see what this new Pokemon brings to the table.
