The upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution and One Piece Unlimited World Red both feature a bit of fan service.

For Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, series creator Masashi Kishimoto drew an original character, Mecha-Naruto, whose antics may get annoying eventually, but was hilarious after a long day of hearing about videogames. There’s also some new back story about the Akatsuki and the Uchiha clan as well.

Those who get the “Day One” edition (PS3/360/Steam in September) are treated to Naruto and Sasuke costume swaps as well as Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura samurai costumes. There’s also a new you versus three Ninja World Tournament mode.

Meanwhile, One Piece Unlimited World Red has an original story supervised by series creator Eiichiro Oda, who also designed two new characters for the game: Pato, a raccoon, and Red, the villainous pirate who lends his name to the game. “Day One” purchasers also will be treated to exclusive character costumes.

It’s coming this July to PS3, Vita, and 3DS (digital or physical) and to Wii U (digital only). It’s pretty as heck (sometimes), too.
