New cosmetics, replay function, and Hero added to Dota 2

Patch hits tomorrow!

Yesterday, a new game mode, the Hero Terrorblade, and balance changes were introduced for the newest Dota 2 update, scheduled to go live tomorrow. Today we get another Hero, Phoenix, a new feature, and HATS! The new cosmetic items were created and chosen by the Dota 2 community via the Steam Workshop, and I must say that they are all very appealing. They add cosmetics into the game at an insane rate, but this last batch is certainly top-notch!

The new feature is called Replay Takeover, and will work with any replay after this patch hits. It allows players to play a replay, and then take over from a certain point forward, allowing you to once and for all prove that “I can do better than that!” Doing so will save an additional replay of your sure-to-be-awesome efforts.

Needless to say, this patch cannot come soon enough.
