Monster Hunter XX announced, watch the full Nintendo Direct here

It’s for 3DS

The Monster Hunter Nintendo Direct was only roughly 10 minutes long, and although we didn’t get any real western-related news, we did get confirmation of a new game — Monster Hunter XX for the 3DS.

It brings in two new hunting styles, G-Rank quests, additional monsters, and the ability to transfer data from Generations, as well as a Palico outfit bonus if you have a Stories save file. It looks fine, but I really wish they would just announce Stories already for the west (and subsequently, its amiibo line).

Monster Hunter XX will arrive on March 18, 2017 in Japan. At the moment, we have multiple Monster Hunter games that aren’t confirmed for a localization.
