There’s been quite a bit of fallout following the news of Mega Man Legends 3‘s cancellation, but if you want to find some of the best, look no further than the game’s Wikipedia page. The page has had to be locked after fans bombarded it with hateful and angry edits.
“GOD WHY GOD WHY GOD WHY THIS ISN’T LIFE WHAT IS HAPPENING HUDSON DIES AND NOW THIS,” read one particularly evocative addition. “WHAT IN THE JIBBLY JAM HELL OF HELL IS GOING ON.”
Many edited in their own reasons for Capcom axing the game, including such delights as, “Because they hate their fans and money”, “Because Capcom is run by Monkeys”, “Because Capcom is run by spineless, hardline MBAs” and “Because Capcom is retarded and Superboy Prime hated the game.”
One fan’s theory was elegant in its simplicity: “Capcom is gay.”
Something tells me people aren’t too happy about it.
