Meet Titanfall’s Ogre, the tank in your sci-fi mech party

Ogre the top

During this past weekend’s VGX show, there were not only some rad reveals, but also some new trailers for games we already know about. The much-hyped shooter Titanfall got a new trailer, showing off the hardened tank of a Titan called the “Ogre.”

It is described to sacrifice agility for pure stopping power and the ability to absorb a lot of damage before being destroyed. Personally, I like the very clinical propagandized approach of the trailer. It’s not a machine built for murder; it’s an efficient instrument responsible for “67% of enemy force depletion.” I can just imagine the suits with their pie charts discussing its capabilities.

I’ve taken the liberty to create one such pie chart.
