A puzzle and mystery-based event unlike anything we’ve ever seen before has landed in Marvel Rivals. This event is called Night of Illusions, and it’s got quite an array of tricky puzzles you must work through to claim exclusive rewards.

What is Night of Illusions in Marvel Rivals?
The Night of Illusions event is a puzzle-based, mystery-solving event in Marvel Rivals. Throughout this mode, you’re tasked with exploring five unique scenes, all of which have a collection of clues to collect and investigate.
Along the way, you’ll also meet some familiar heroes and be tasked with solving a few unique puzzles that pop up. There’s no standard combat in this event, but at the very end, you will find yourself in a boss battle. The mechanics for beating it, though, are the same as fishing, so it’s nothing like regular fighting gameplay.

How to complete Night of Illusions in Marvel Rivals
To successfully complete the Night of Illusions event in Marvel Rivals, you need to navigate through all five puzzles featured in it. For each one, you must find all hidden clues and use them to solve the mystery for that scene, which then allows you to progress further. Some areas have a few extra puzzles hidden around the room, but overall, your main goal remains the same.
All Night of Illusions puzzles in Marvel Rivals
The Night of Illusions event has five puzzles to tackle, each of which takes place in a unique area. The base goal of each one is the same, but you will occasionally encounter additional unique tasks as you explore each scene.

| Chapter two – Scrapyard | Investigate the Scrapyard scene to find 10 hidden clues. Use these clues to piece together the number that opens the way forward. Enter the correct code for the locked door next to Rocket Raccoon to progress. |
| Chapter three – Abandoned House | Explore the Abandoned House to reveal 19 clues. Use the Extinguished Soul-Lantern to collect some wisps and pry open the latch on the Shield clue using the Bone Pins. With all 19 clues gathered, solve a tile slider puzzle to bring Devil Dinosaur back to life. |
| Chapter four – Hall of Eternal Night | Find 10 clues around the Hall of Eternal Night. Then, return each token to its place and follow the guidance to restart the ritual by solving Blade’s ritual clock dial puzzle. |
| Chapter five – Unknown Space | Reveal 12 clues around the Unknown Space. Piece together the four correct items to repair the rifle. Face the truth at the end of the eerie house and make the right judgment and choice by beating Mister Fantastic in a boss battle. |

There are seven rewards up for grabs in the Night of Illusions event. The first four chapters each grant you one, then the final chapter features three to reward you for fully working through the entire event. Here’s how to get every one of them.

When does the Night of Illusions event end in Marvel Rivals?
The Night of Illusions event is available from Oct. 29 to Dec. 31. This means you have just over two full months to get it done. Each time you complete one of the puzzles, the one that comes right after it is unlocked immediately, so you can get it all done in one go or steadily work through them over time.
