Crimson Desert‘s Charting the Unknown DLC has added the romance feature to the game, and you can now get married (and also raise a family). The process is relatively simple, but this guide will explain the complete process.

How to romance in Crimson Desert

If you want to romance a character, you’ll need to build their Trust and take it to +100. There are different ways to get this done. You can use Gold Bars, or you can gift them with items they love. You’ll also get the chance to speak with them (there’s a daily count).

Once the Trust reaches the required threshold. You’ll get the chance to Flirt with them. You can increase Flirt to +100 just like you did for Trust. The process works in the same way, but it will take few in-game days to take your Flirt to +100.

Finally, you’ll get the chance to Propose to the NPC. Do note that not every NPC allows you to romance them. Look for a heart symbol on them to ensure that they’re available for romance.

Once you marry an NPC, you’ll always find them on your map. You can summon them to travel together on your adventures, and they can also move in with you. Then there are the gifts they will provide you with.

I also found a divorce option available. I guess this allows you to change your partner, but I haven’t exercised this option.
