In today’s Nintendo Direct, Satoru Iwata was proud to announce yet another development in the “Year of Luigi” campaign — Luigi is confirmed for the 3DS and Wii U Smash Bros. game that’s currently in development.
Considering Luigi was one of my mains in Melee, I’m really excited for this news. It’s not like we really doubted he would be in anyway, but still, it’s great news, as he’s an excellent addition to the franchise.
