It has been announced in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine that the Nintendo 3DS will see a collection of the first five Medabots games, originally released for the Game Boy Color.

While the story was light on details, it was confirmed that the Medabots Classic release would feature the five titles, spanning 1997 to 2001, complete with “system improvements and evolutions”.

The bot-battling title will be available in Japan in both Kabuto and Kuwagata editions. There will also be a limited edition available, which will include an art-book and soundtrack CD. No launch date, nor plans for a Western release, were announced.
