Coming this month
February 13 is a huge day for Nintendo. In addition to some amiibo launches, you’ll also be able to pick up a New 3DS, Majora’s Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and now, IronFall: Invasion in Europe. The latter is basically a Gears of War-like experience that was unveiled years back for the 3DS, pushing the system to its limits.
Now that it’s set for next week on the eShop, we have a bit more detail as to what to expect. In addition to 60fps gameplay (without 3D), there will also be online multiplayer and a campaign. It will sport a free-to-play scheme that has the first level and limited online play, but you can purchase single or multiplayer separately for $9.99 each.
It’s an interesting prospect, with an 11 level story and six player online play, as well as C-Stick and Circle Pad Pro support. The developer has recently noted that it should arrive in the US this month.
