My most fond memories of Yoshi usually involve flinging him over a chasm to survive in Super Mario World. But in this amazingly adorable clip from Nintendo promoting Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World, we clearly see he has other ideas.
The little guy has had quite the ride, debuting in one of the best platformers of all time (and my personal favorite 2D Mario game), and appearing in a number of great spinoffs like Yoshi’s Cookie and Safari. I hope this 3DS port can recapture the magic of the Wii U original, but I don’t see how they could screw up what basically seems like a straight port.
