Gurumin was one of the best games I played last year. Owing itself to a number of classic PS1 era titles like Brave Fencer Musashi, it was a joy from top to bottom. It helps that it was released all the way back in 2007 on PSP internationally (in 2004 on PC in Japan), but quite a few folks experienced it for the first time in 2015.
Now it’s coming to 3DS in the near future, and even though it doesn’t have a release date yet, publisher Mastiff has confirmed a pricepoint of $14.99, which includes a free theme. They aren’t set on what theme they’re going with yet, but there’s going to be five sold at launch.
So long as nothing is terribly wrong with this port, this could be another killer pickup for the 3DS, which just had a really strong Nintendo Direct showing.
