Geno’s back with yet another batch of missions for you to complete, and many of them are quite tough to figure out in Fortnite. One of the trickier ones you’ll encounter asks you to reveal opponents to shield Geno from interference.
This one can be difficult to tackle since there are different ways to go about it, and you’re not told any of the options to choose from. If this mission has you stumped, here’s how to reveal opponents to shield Geno from interference in Fortnite.

How to reveal opponents in Fortnite
There are two ways to reveal opponents in Fortnite Chapter Seven, season four:
- Find and equip an X-Ray Sprite. This Sprite can be randomly found and obtained from around the island by entering Cheat Codes, smashing Pumpkin Chests, and general looting. With this Sprite equipped, opponents will periodically be marked nearby, making it a great option for checking off Geno’s quest.
- Use the Last Call. This special item is a Loot Hack, which means you need to visit the Override page and spend some Sprite Dust to unlock it. Once you’ve paid the initial fee, there’s a chance you may find this asset while looting. You can spend additional Sprite Dust to increase your chances. When you do find this item, you can activate Ghostface’s “Call players” option when foes are nearby to mark them, thus completing Geno’s quest.
You’ll know you’ve successfully revealed an opponent when you see a red diamond icon hovering over their head. This mission also calls for opponents, not just players, so you can find and reveal either hostile NPCs or other players.
Although you can also technically hire an NPC with the Scout speciality to mark foes, you’re not actually tackling this task yourself using this method. Because of this, it doesn’t actually count as progress. To get this mission done, you must use one of the two previously mentioned options.

Reveal opponents to shield Geno from interference in Fortnite
To complete the reveal opponents to shield Geno from interference quest, you need to mark and reveal a total of two enemies. You can use the same method for both opponents, or instead try out both available ways.
The methods you can use to reveal enemies change each season as the available loot pool shifts, but for Chapter Seven, season four, you’ve only got two viable choices. Either find or equip an already unlocked X-Ray Sprite, or seek out Ghostface’s handy Last Call item to check off this mission.
With this quest out of the way, you can move on to other tricky endeavors around the island.
