How to Reroll in Wuthering Waves

If you have the time and are so inclined.

Rerolling is a foundational element of gacha gaming for many players, and Wuthering Waves is no different. If you want to get your account off to the best possible start, you’ll want to make sure you get the best character you can at the start of the game.

Now, before we get too deep into the weeds on this one, it is likely that rerolling is just not worth it for the average player. You will be able to play through the story and enjoy all the content, no matter what character you get at the start of the game. Rerolling is really for the folks who wish to invest the effort to get what they consider to be the perfect start to the game.

How to Reroll in Wuthering Waves

While you can reroll in Wuthering Waves, I should point out that this is not a game that I consider to be “reroll friendly.” It takes some time to get to the point where you will be able to reroll, and you’ll need a fresh email every time you want to do it. So, the developers are clearly trying to discourage rerolling but have not gone so far as to make it outright impossible to do.

Load up the game, use one of your emails, and then play through the following beats:

  • Meet Yanguag and Chixia
  • Meet Baizhi and then beat the Crownless
  • Make your way to Jinshou, which can be found on the northern border of Juanglong.
  • Keep playing until you unlock the Summoning feature
  • Perform the pull using the free ones made available to you via your mailbox
  • If you didn’t get the character that you want, then start afresh

When it comes to which character you should be trying to get, that will really depend now what you consider to be the best possible for you. We have a helpful guide on the available 5 Stars, and personally, I plan on aiming for Verina. One thing my time with gacha games has taught me is that a strong support can be with you for a very long time and make all the difference for brute forcing tough content if rolls don’t always go your way.

This really is a case where Rerolling is a lot of work, however, so I really don’t think it is very necessary for Wuthering Waves. You can get to your preferred 5 Star quickly due to the starter Banners, and you’d like to make more game-relevant progress in the time you would have spent rerolling.

I’m also just gonna leave the below image here, which is what I pulled on my first Convene. So, you can definitely get pretty lucky in this game, should you really feel like pushing it.
