For the duration of the 2026 run of Fortnitemares, there’s a spooky collection of Sprites you can acquire in Fortnite. These ones are extra special, as they’re only on the island for a limited time, as is the case with the Spooky Dash Sprite.

Many Sprites are quite common, but others are very rare and tricky to track down. This is the case with the Spooky Dash Sprite since it’s a Mythic one, making it one of the overall most difficult Fortnitemares Sprites to obtain. If you’re having trouble adding this one to your collection, here’s how to get the Spooky Dash Sprite in Fortnite.

How to find Spooky Dash Sprite in Fortnite

The Spooky Dash Sprite is a random loot drop item, which means the only way to find it in Fortnite is simply looting around the island and hoping you get lucky while exploring. This special Sprite does have some guaranteed methods you can use to add the base version and some variants of it to your collection, but otherwise, you simply need to loot around and hope you find it.

Here are all of the ways you can get a Spooky Dash Sprite in Fortnite.

  • Complete two specific Sprite Spree quests. There are two missions in this special series you can check off to obtain this Sprite. As of the time of writing, it’s unknown how long these quests will be available, so be sure to check them off as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.
    • Eliminate 30 players to get the base version of the Spooky Dash Sprite.
    • Enter 15 Trick-or-Treat Codes to earn the Gold Spooky Dash Sprite.
  • Reach Sprite Mastery level 55. Upon achieving this goal, you are given a Quack Spooky Dash Sprite as a reward.
  • Find and enter Cheat Codes. Anytime you enter one, you’re guaranteed to get a Sprite. There’s no way to control what type it is, but if luck is on your side, it could be a Spooky Dash Sprite, so it’s always worth trying.
  • Smash Pumpkin Chests. Like Cheat Codes, they’re guaranteed to drop a Sprite. These special containers are only around for Fortnitemares and have a boosted chance of dropping Fortnitemares Sprites, making them a great option for trying to find the Spooky Dash Sprite.
  • Search blue chests. Sprites aren’t guaranteed from them, but they do drop rarer loot, so it’s always worth checking them.
  • Fish from gold spots. These uncommon spots contain extremely rare loot. You won’t find them naturally all that often, but a Match Override can be triggered to turn all fishing spots gold, making them much easier to find and use.
  • Find it as a random loot drop. All Sprites have a small chance of wandering around the island at random, so be sure to keep an eye out while exploring just in case this one is hanging around.

There’s no specific location where you’re guaranteed to find a Spooky Dash Sprite on the island. Luckily, though, you can use the guaranteed acquisition methods mentioned above to ensure you unlock a few of them. Many other Sprites don’t have this option available at all, so be sure to make use of it for this one.

What does the Spooky Dash Sprite do in Fortnite?
