A fresh event has landed in Marvel Rivals, bringing with it a new scavenger hunt gameplay feature unlike anything we’ve seen before. In Jeff’s Superstar Search, you’re given daily clues to solve, all of which lead to a special Star you can collect.
Since there’s never been an event like this one before, and the main feature in it sends you on a tricky hunt for a very small item, it’s a pretty daunting task to take on. There are lots of epic freebies up for grabs if you complete it, though, so here’s how to complete Jeff’s Superstar Search in Marvel Rivals and where to find all the Stars featured in it.

Jeff’s Superstar Search event guide in Marvel Rivals
To complete the Jeff’s Superstar Search event in Marvel Rivals, you need to find a total of 10 Stars. You can only earn one Star per day, so fully finishing this event takes a minimum of 10 days.
Each day, you’re given two different options for collecting the Star:
- Solve the featured daily clue. This clue will tell you to search around Times Square or Hellfire Bay Beach to find the Star. It’ll only be found at one specific spot on one of the two maps, though, so use the details in the hint to figure out where it is.
- Win three matches in Quick Match, Competitive, Arcade, or Practice VS AI. Play Marvel Rivals as usual and secure a victory three times across any of these modes to claim your Star.
Both options reward you with the daily Star, and you can only collect one, so it’s entirely up to you which method you want to tackle. Overall, though, solving the clue is much faster as long as you know where to look.

A new clue for the daily Star becomes available at 9am UTC/4am CT each day as long as this event is active. As fresh clues become available to solve, we’ll add them here to help you find the Star. Here are all of the Star locations available so far.
- Sept. 17 Star clue – “Atop a roof of golden thatch, Jeff readies for takeoff, dreaming of soaring the skies as a superstar.”
- Can be found on the roof of the central bar building you spawn at on Hellfire Bay Beach.
- Sept. 18 Star clue – TBA
All Jeff’s Superstar Search rewards in Marvel Rivals
There are three free rewards featured in the Jeff’s Superstar Search event. These prizes unlock at milestones throughout the event, which are four Stars, seven Stars, and 10 Stars. Here’s everything you can earn from it.
- For collecting four Stars, you can claim the Daywalker Dreams Spray.
- For collecting seven Stars, you can claim the Superstar Seeker Title.
- For collecting 10 Stars, you can claim the animated Dreamscape Nameplate.
How long is Jeff’s Superstar Search in Marvel Rivals?
Jeff’s Superstar Search event is available to tackle from Sept. 17 to Oct. 9. This means you have three full weeks to get it done. You only need 10 Stars to claim everything it offers, so this is more than enough time to tackle it even if you’re not on top of claiming your Star each day. As long as you find the Star 10 days during this timeframe, you’ll earn all prizes.
