That’s DBZ-speak for ‘New DBZ 3DS trailer’
How many of you had the AIM screen name “SSJVegeta12” or some derivative thereof, or did the Fusion Dance in the comfort of your own home in front of a mirror? It’s ok to admit it, you’re among friends here. If you’re one of those people, Dragon Ball Fusions, developed by Ganbarion and releasing on 3DS in Japan later this year is probably going to be your jam.
The latest trailer shows off open world exploration, RPG elements, combat, and of course, fusions. The game seems to be taking a decidedly chibi-like art style which may turn some of you off, but I like the idea of a “pocket” game on 3DS to flip in and out of in bite-sized chunks. They also go crazy with the fusions, including Prillin (Piccolo + Krillin), Tiencha (Tien and Yamcha), and Karoly (Goku + Broly).
There’s even a five-way fusion called a “Maxi Fusion,” which is pretty much inline with the increasingly high-stakes insanity of the show.
