Thanks to its Vision system and steep difficulty curve, finding the right places to farm EXP and MRP can be considered a must if you want to stay ahead and truly bring your builds to life in Final Fantasy Resonance.
And the great thing is, like with the Metal Slimes in Dragon Quest XI, being able to level up fast is only a matter of finding the right spawn spots. No matter if you are in the early or late game, here are the best locations to farm EXP and MRP in Final Fantasy Resonance.

The best locations to farm EXP in Final Fantasy Resonance

When looking to farm EXP in FF Resonance, Metal Minituars, Metal Cactuars, and Metal Gigantuars are the main targets and reward you with 2.500, 25.000, and 150.000 EXP per battle (bonuses aside).
You can defeat the metal enemies fast by spamming multi-hit abilities and using both Double Action and Double Cast. Remember, each hit against them will only do 1 DMG, and they will usually escape after a few turns. It is also possible to get double EXP from the battles by using the Mastery Pendant.
All Metal Minituar locations
Available as soon as you unlock the full map, you can find Metal Minituars in a small valley south of the Darven Forge at Dirnado, the Continent of Wind. They will be fairly easy to beat and only demand nine hits.

All Metal Cactuar locations
Only available past the mid-game point at the start of Chapter 5, Metal Cactuars can be found on an island west of Mysidia. While there, make sure to also interact with the blizzard whirlwind to take on Shiva’s trial and unlock her as a summon.

All Metal Gigantuar locations
Only spawnable after reaching Chapter 6, you can find and farm Metal Gigantuars by heading to the small island below, located on the west end of Kingdom of Pharm. Apart from the Metal Gigantuar, the area is also known for spawning Gigantuars, as well as the King Gil Snapper needed for the Struck Gold trophy/achievement.

Just keep in mind that you cannot land on the island with the airship and must cross the level 52 Dragon’s Maw dungeon to reach it. The dungeon is infested with high-level enemies and welcomes you with an unskippable level 52 Intangir boss fight.

The best locations to farm MRP in Final Fantasy Resonance

If you are looking to master your Visions fast in FF Resonance, regular Cactuars and Gigantuars are your best bet and reward you with 429 and 1170 MPR (Expert) per win, respectively.
Unlike their metal variants, the plantoids can be defeated by quickly staggering them with Water attacks, so don’t forget to equip the Azure Amulet on any Double Action character for an easier time. The Gigantuars are also weak to Blizzard and offer Magicite as a rare stealable.
Where to find Cactuars and Gigantuars early in FF Resonance
Thanks to both its ease of access and spawn rate, the spot below, located south of the Sanctum of Y’Shtola in Zoldaad Empire Territory, is the best area to farm Cactuars before acquiring the airship in Chapter 5.

Once you can take to the skies, however, the island below, located on Dirnado, the Continent of Wind, becomes the go-to spot for farming MRP. The location spawns both regular Cactuars and Gigantuars (after Chapter 6) and is considered ideal for those not looking to go through Dragon’s Maw.
