First Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance trailer

Here we have the debut trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, shown today as part of a Square Enix press event. It’s small, screen-capped from a feed and overlayed with moonspeak, but there it is. Sora and Riku teaming up over something I cannot possibly comprehend.

I absolutely adored Kingdom Hearts, enough so that I saw my way through its sequel. I found the continuing adventures of Sora and company to be primarily interested in obfuscating a threadbare plot as meaningful and exploiting attachment to previously well-crafted characters. So, my enthusiasm isn’t at a fever pitch or anything but the hairs on the back of my neck still stand up whenever I think of a Keyblade and this has potential.
