Nintendo has announced that Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. will have amiibo support when it arrives on March 13 on the 3DS. Marth, Ike, Robin, and Lucina are in, and they become playable characters in the game if you happen to own the figures and touch them to your New 3DS.

An adapter wasn’t announced for “Old” 3DS units, but the rumor is that it will come between amiibo Waves 3 and 4. The company also hinted the Marth amiibo will be re-released this year.
