Final Fantasy Explorers arriving west in January

Final Fantasy Explorers looks intriguing — like Square Enix’s take on Phantasy Star Online. Thankfully, the publisher has just announced this week that it will be headed west, specifically on January 26 in the US, and January 29 in Europe. It’s a 3DS exclusive, and will feature 20 jobs, as well multiplayer, and a story that heavily focuses on exploration and crystals.

While I have a feeling that the game itself may end up being a bit shallow (based on what a few of my colleagues have said about the Japanese version), it looks like a ton of fun to play with friends.
