Fatal Frame guys making Ghost Camera, it’s SO SCARY!

Here is a trailer for Ghost Camera, a new horror game for the 3DS. It’s being made by the same team responsible for Fatal Frame and published by Tecmo Koei. 

The name gives you a big enough clue as to what this game entails — using the 3DS’ camera to hunt for spooky shenanigans in the real world. These kind of augmented reality experiences always interest me, but I’m waiting for one to truly provide a great gaming experience. 

This looks like it would be a pretty spooky game when played in the dark, walking around the house, but then the camera wouldn’t be able to see anything. What this game needs is an adjustable flashlight attachment that clips onto the 3DS itself. You know it makes sense.
