In the wake of last week’s reveal of Final Fantasy‘s Cloud coming to Super Smash Bros., some people have managed to put together videos analyzing his introduction in great detail. We have two great examples for you.

The first, by GameXplain, is long and gives a frame-by-frame breakdown of Cloud’s moveset along with any nods that Sakurai gives to Final Fantasy. A more digestible one by Master0fHyrule is three minutes and just features all of Cloud’s moves in real-time and slow-motion.

Of course, all of this is based solely on the initial reveal. Nintendo likely has more to add. Look for that next month at the Direct that will be dedicated entirely to Smash Bros. Until then, pore over these videos so you know exactly how to use or defend against that big ol’d Buster Sword.
