Etrian Odyssey IV’s soundtrack is worth checking out

Yuzo Koshiro and orchestral music

Recommended Videos

With Etrian Odyssey IV out this week, you’re hopefully making use of Dale’s tips and our exclusive quest. We wanted to remind you that the game’s soundtrack is awesome as well, composed by Yuzo Koshiro and taking a more orchestral approach as opposed to the retro FM synthesis that previous titles featured.

Check out our review of the game’s soundtrack from Note Worthy, a full-length sample of our favorite track from the game, “City of Radiant Ruin,” below, and if it strikes your fancy, pick up the two-disc soundtrack from CD Japan.

Let us know how your playthrough is going and how the music is striking you. Maybe you’re enjoying the outtakes and rough draft versions that were distributed with early shipments
