Etrian Odyssey gets a Mystery Dungeon crossover

Atlus and Spike Chunsoft, together again

Well, it looks like Atlus and Spike Chunsoft are having another baby. The studios announced a new collaborative project today, Etrian Mystery Dungeon.

For those unfamiliar with Mystery Dungeon, it’s a series of roguelikes, most of which have been adaptations of prominent RPG franchises like PokémonDragon Quest, and Final Fantasy. That’s some pretty good company.

Etrian Odyssey and Mystery Dungeon is coming to Nintendo 3DS in Japan on March 5, 2015. Atlus also announced Etrian Odyssey V today, and is releasing Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir in Japan later this week.
