E3: Paradox teaming up with TwitchTV

Recommended Videos

Paradox Interactive is working with TwitchTV to let players upload live gameplay straight from their game to the TwitchTV community. Their upcoming 2D action title, The Showdown Effect, will be the first of their games to implement this feature. There will be a direct link from the game’s dashboard to the platform.

While Paradox is the first publisher to do this, TwitchTV CEO Emmett Shear is hoping that this will open the door to it being a more common occurrence and states that gaming has become a “spectator phenomenon.”
