This morning’s Microsoft press conference brought many exciting announcements for gamers (and there are still more to come!), but by far my favorite was seeing the very first footage of Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360. The game looks as crisp and beautiful as you would expect, and we got a look at a summon spell, which brought the legendary Odin to the table to kick ass and take names.
The release date for the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII was also confirmed for Spring 2010, which is a little bit more info than we knew before. Still no exact date, but you can start planning now to save that paid vacation time you have coming up for springtime!
