Having spent the last several years developing for legacy consoles, NG:DEV.TEAM is ready for something new. The German indie studio has taken to Indiegogo with the mission of recasting one of its contemporary retro games on Nintendo platforms.

Gunlord initially launched last year for the Neo Geo and Sega Dreamcast systems, boasting a vast world to explore rife with enemies to blast and a delightful soundtrack from the composer of Söldner-X2 and Rainbow Moon. Now the “Eurostyle” platformer is looking to cast a wider net on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

To achieve that end the developers are seeking to raise €40,000. The capital will primarily be allocated toward financing the acquisition of dev kits, commissioning additional artwork, and tailoring the title to the new hardware.
