Square Enix unveiled Dragon Quest XI for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS late last month at an event in Tokyo, where the publisher gave attendees a nice long look at the game.
Today, the company has shared the first screenshots of the upcoming role-playing game, and boy howdy are they easy on the eyes, showcasing everything from the overworld to towns and battles.
Dragon Quest XI has a few different looks, sporting a couple different retro visual styles in the 3DS version (that players can switch between at will) in addition to the gorgeous modern PS4 graphics.
I’m not quite sure which aesthetic I prefer out of the bunch; they all have their own unique charms.
