In an ongoing saga of “are theĀ Monster Hunter Rise SunbreakĀ amiibo ever coming out,” we can confirm that they are shipping out of Japan for all of you who imported.

As we’ve reported in the past, the situation is a little strange depending on your region. Some parts of Europe have confirmed tweets stating that they’ve gotten them already, and Nintendo of Australia/New Zealand put them out on August 12. An internal GameStop memo has provided a window of August 26 or September 9 for a US date. It is expected that there will not be a pre-order period for these in the US, but anything can change.

Today, my Malzeno amiibo figure arrived from Amazon Japan (viewable in the gallery below). The Canyne Malzeno Palamute and the Felyne Malzeno Palico are still on the way, but have shipped. As a reminder, these figures provide costumes (layered armor), on top of in-game lottery item chances. The level of detail in the Malezno is obvious as soon as you see it up close, and in line with the general increase in quality for amiibo as a whole in recent years.

A quick recap of where amiibo stand in 2022 in addition to the SunbreakĀ amiibo:
