3DS music creation tool KORG DSN-12 isn’t a game, but Korg contest winner PAINTVOX shows it can be played just fine in this live performance that took place in Tokyo last month. He went against others in a contest to win the privilege of having his music used in a Korg commercial. 

KORG DSN-12 lets you sequence and program to your heart’s content, but PAINTVOX chooses to go live, armed with only his stylus for this performance of his “Oscillodriver.” Watching him play, you can see why he won. Stick with it — the song really warms up near the end.

KORG DSN-12 will be available soon in North America, and it’s already live on the eShop in Europe.
