Candy Kingdom Defense Tier List – Best Units [🎃UPD]

Candy Kingdom Defense has a wide variety of unique DPS and Support units to mix and match for several meta team comps. I’ll outline the best units for each category as well as provide viable alternatives in the lower tiers. Here’s my Candy Kingdom Defense unit tier list.

Massive Top-tier Circle AOE damageHas huge stalling potential with his pulling abilityThe ability allows your other units to DPS morePlus you get the money boost for Economy

Metal Reaper (Grim Reaper EVO)

Better nuker than Lord of Evil in terms of raw Circle AOE DPSThat said his stalling power is lower in return trading the vortex for an AOE slow which is also decentUnlike King he has more ticks and no delay on his attacks

Candy Elemental (Candy Princess EVO)

Resummoning dead enemies is massive utility in addition to giving you more damage

The Dark Cloud (Elder Vampire EVO)

No passive but Dark Cloud’s AOE splash DPS numbers are simply Meta level

Grim Reaper (Halloween Banner Secret)

The unevo Reaper is still slightly better than Lich Dog due to slow and burn damageFull AOE Meta damage

Lich Dog (Lich EVO)

Meta DPS that has a stun ability for stalling

Cosmic Dog (Stretchy Dog EVO)

Full AOE Meta DPS that’s quite cheap and easy to getOn top of all that he also stuns

Vampire King (Rock Vampire EVO)

Best support buffer in the gameBoosts overall team DPS through SPA buffsEconomy booster

Prism Unicorn (Unicorn EVO)

A great alternative to the Meta units for raw damage

Game King (Game Buddy EVO)

An excellent sub-Meta alternative for Full AOE damageHas great support utility through his slows

Mars King (Mad Magician EVO)

Same ranking reasons as base but note that he got slightly nerfed recentlyThat’s why I would keep the unevo version and avoid wasting resources until you EVO other Meta units

Mad Magician (Base Banner Secret)

An excellent hybrid for DPS and stunning potential

Elder Vampire

Excellent alternative AOE DPS even though there’s no passives

Adventure Man (Adventure Boy EVO)

An easy EVO to get and goes amazingly well with Cosmic Dog for a massive damage buff

Demon Lord

Just a stepping stone for the Lord of Evil EVO which is a Meta DPS Support

Dog Suit (Adventure Man+Stretchy Dog EVO)

Excellent sub-meta bosskiller

Lemon Earl III (Lemon Earl Evo)

Amazing support unitHis summons give you so much stalling potential and DPS windows for your other main damage units

Decent Eco unit with Rock Vampire but not a must-haveLord of Evil is better for Eco

Vampire Beast (Vampire Queen EVO)

Just a solid overall DPS but there are better EVOs in the game

Lich Lord (Portal Unit)

Decent mid-game stun DPS unit that’s needed for the meta Lich Dog

Stretchy Dog

The best beginner unit in the game due to early stuns

Rock Vampire

Decent early support

Candy Princess

Needed for the Meta EVO

Fire Wizard (BattlePass)

A niche DPS unit that has elemental flexibility between this shiny version and the base

Ice Wizard (BattlePass)

Same as Fire but has a different element

Demon Lady

A niche Eco unit if you don’t have Rock Vampire/Lord of EvilSame as its EVO but weaker

Belly Demon

Decent support unit due to the grab stun

The best unit in Candy Kingdom Defense depends on whether you’re looking for a DPS, Support or Economy unit. All units that fulfill these roles in the most optimal way possible are in the S-Tiers. Most of them fulfill multiple roles with the best unit in the game Lord of Evil having abilities for all three roles. Units in the A-Tier are excellent alternative picks that fulfill a single role really well and B-Tiers are good mid-game options if you lack higher tier picks. I would avoid C-Tiers unless you’re a beginner and have no better options.

Best Trait: Traits are very linear in Candy Kingdom Defense with not a lot of nuance so the same trait is the best one for every unit. The best traits are Oh My Glob and Hero of OOO. The best alternative epic trait is Algebraic for the SPA reduction which scales incredibly well with all DPS and Support units.
