Apparently, Tomodachi Life is for little girls

Still not sure if you’re going to pick up Tomodachi Life? That Nintendo Direct video really sold it to me, so I recommend you watch that if you need further convincing. Or do you prefer cringeworthy trailers for tweens? If that’s more your style, you’ll definitely dig the latest Tomodachi Life trailer above.

Two little girls have an animated conversation about the game, rap battles, and all the “whoa, cool!” things you can do within it. I get the attempt at drawing in a younger audience, but this might be one of the worst commercials I’ve seen in quite some time. It’s so fun to make fun of, though. I shall continue to do so for the weeks to come, lamenting the fact that Nintendo really just has no idea how to market toward, well, anyone.

And I can’t wait to play this game. Seriously.
