Animal Crossing gets its PONPONPON on

Stitches just blew her mind…

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is almost here, but I’m not seeing much excitement for it. Maybe that’s because it’s a full priced game that looks to offer just a fraction of the features found in the previously released Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I’m still scratching my head over that one.

To add insult to injury, this new Animal Crossing commercial isn’t even for Happy Home Designer. It’s for New Leaf, which apparently just got a price drop in Japan. Titled  “Animal Crossing: New Leaf  TVCM special hen”, this lovely advertisement features Kyary Pamyu Pamyu of PONPONPON fame in yet another Space Jam-style crossover between a real life human and animated Nintendo characters

If Pixels can be made into a feature length movie, then so should this. If one hour of that movie consisted solely of scenes where Kyary squeezes Tom Nook’s fat while he sweats with flattered embarrassment, I would not complain.
