Also, AC: amiibo Festival announced

Today, during Nintendo's E3 showcase, the publisher took some time to talk Animal Crossing.

The decorating-focused Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is coming to Nintendo 3DS on September 25, the company announced just before revealing another spin-off for Wii U.

That's called Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, a new party that requires at least one amiibo figure to fuction. You can play it this holiday season -- if Nintendo makes enough figures, that is. Good luck with that!
